Moist Walnut & Beetroot Powder Bread

We all love bread!! And we love them some more when they are fresh out of the oven.


Making Beetroot Powder bread may seem daunting, but it’s not if you follow the instructions wisely, you’ll definitely be on your way!


This beautiful beetroot powder bread makes a perfect addition to your Sunday brunches, holiday table or just at breakfast for family & friends.

What does a beetroot powder bread taste like?


Beetroot bread will be moderately sweet and the recommended dosage of beetroot extract powder in a day should be between two to five scoops a day.

So, let’s start making it together!



 

Ingredients

  • 100 gm Pear/Sweet apple

  • 80 ml Apple Juice

  • 3 scoop Beetroot Powder

  • 80 ml Vegetable Oil

  • ¼ cup Sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 2 cups Flour

  • 2 tbsp Baking Powder

  • ¼ tbsp baking soda

  • Zest of 1 Lemon

  • 2 tbsp Ground Ginger

  • 1 cup chopped Walnuts

  • 1/3 tbsp salt


Let’s Get Started


  1. Once you have cut the pear, add it in a blender with apple juice and 3 scoops of beetroot powder and make a puree until it’s smooth.

  2. Now, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground ginger, lemon zest and salt.

  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and add vegetable oil and sugar until fluffy.

  4. Now pour the beet mixture and stir to combine them.

  5. Pour the batter into the pan and bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour.

  6. Remove from the oven and set it aside to cool down completely before cutting it.


 

Notes:

· Do not over stir the batter as the bread may end up a little dense.

· You can store beetroot bread in an airtight container for several days.
