Chilled Strawberry & Beetroot Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies are the best!!! They are quick and easy to make and yes, tastes like heaven. There is nothing like a good smoothie to start your day and to keep you refreshed throughout the day.


We just love how one can enjoy it anytime in a day.


Well, then what’s better than a quick healthy beetroot smoothie?



If you didn’t know, beetroot is known for its vast benefits and acts as a natural cleansing agent for your body.

However, if you are worried about how to make beetroot powder taste better, just add a tablespoon of raw honey.

Recipe Total Time: 10 Minutes

Quick Strawberry & Beet Root Breakfast Smoothie Recipe


Ingredients

  • 1 Banana

  • 1 cup Strawberries

  • ½ to 1 tbsp Cinnamon

  • ½ Cup Almond Milk

  • ¾ tbsp Beetroot Powder (we used Incept Foods From Amazon)

  • 2-3 Ice Cubes

  • Chia Seeds and some grated Pistachios for toppings


Instructions

  1. Take out the strawberries and frozen bananas and keep them at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes.

  2. Add all the ingredients in the blender including the beet root powder. I bought mine from Amazon.

  3. Blend for 1-2 minutes until you get a smooth texture and see no lump

  4. Add Chia seeds and some grated pistachios on the top and serve.

  5. Enjoy your Smoothie!


The best way to take beetroot powder is you can always mix it in water or milk. It is soluble and one can easily consume it. The recommended dosage is 3 to 6 grams per day.
